Pupils of St Francis Xavier School are celebrating their superb grades, achieving even greater progress than last year’s record results.
Headteacher, Sharon Keelan-Beardsley, said that she is delighted with the wonderful achievements of all the young people. A number of pupils achieved some simply outstanding results, where they gained grade 9’s in almost every subject. This is a magnificent achievement given that only the top 4% of pupils in the country can hope to achieve a grade 9 in a subject. To achieve this in all of their qualifications is quite remarkable. The young people and their teachers have had to adapt to the rigors of the new GCSE qualifications and despite this, pupils at St Francis Xavier still continue to excel. Our results reflect the excellent pastoral care and support that the school provides, combined with strong relationships that exist between staff, students and their families. Through hard work, the desire to succeed and the commitment of their teachers, our young people have achieved results to be proud of.
