Catch up work for school absences
It is important to us at St Francis Xavier School that learning opportunities are not missed and so we actively encourage all students to make sure they are returning to class, caught up on lessons they were unable to attend.
There is an absence catch up form available in the student planners for your child to record missing work. The expectation is that students will use their class books for personal revision and complete any outstanding DIRT (Dedicated Improvement Reflection Time) or class work. The curriculum areas of the website provide an overview of the topics taught in each key stage which you may wish to refer to.
All homework set will continue to be added to My Child at School and this should be looked at each day that your child is absent from school. If you have any difficulties logging on to My Child at School please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Any student who is absent from school or is requiring additional work can use the following websites to review their learning or catch-up up on work.
