Virtual information evening SUCCESS
On Monday evening over 200 parents joined us for a virtual information session. The evening was just one part of our virtual open event which has been set up to give year 6 pupils a flavour of Saint Francis Xavier.
Headteacher, Stuart McGhee led the sessions which were well received by prospective parents and students alike. School leaders were on hand to answer questions and year 7 students shared experiences of their first few weeks.
Feedback from the evening has been very positive. The sessions were “enjoyed” by many and children left feeling “very excited” about their potential secondary school. Another parent added, “Thank you Mr McGhee it is clear you and your staff, with the participation of the pupils have gone to great lengths to demonstrate the schools values virtually. I’m very grateful. It has given me reassurance that this is the school for my daughter. Thank you”.
Speaking about the evening Mr McGhee said, “We were delighted by the positive feedback we have received. It was a new way of conducting the evening for us. We were conscious that no amount of videos or presentations will truly convey the special feeling visitors get when they come into the school, but we wanted to offer parents and children the best possible experience."
If you were unable to attend the event and/or have further questions please email them to email@example.com and we will endeavour to reply as soon as possible. Additional information and videos can be found on the virtual open evening section of our website.
