Students Bake for Charity
Students raised hundreds of pounds for Macmillan in a cake sale on Friday.
The coffee morning was organised by Key Stage 4 students and raised over £390 for the cancer charity.
This included a kind donation from the residents of the Terrace Care Home in Maison Dieu, to which year 10 students took some of the amazing cakes that students and staff had kindly donated.
The quality and variety of cakes baked for the event was really impressive - a huge thanks to all who donated for their hard work and generosity.
Harry Tucker's incredible Jervaulx chocolate cake (pictured above) became the prize in a 'Guess the Weight' competition.
Eve Emison (Year 11) beat off strong competition and was chosen as Star Baker with her white chocolate creation.
